Title: Lunch Money
Author: Andrew Clements
As both a classroom teacher and a librarian, Andrew Clements has always one of my all-time favorite authors. Lunch Money is one of his newest. It’s the story of money-hungry 5th grader Greg who discovers a gold mine in selling homemade comic books. Greg’s success meets some definite challenges from both authority figures and competitors, but in the end he is able to continue his work and learns the value of principles as well. Clements has produced yet another real winner! This one is great for inspiring kids to DO something to change their world. Let me know what you think when you have read it!

North Highland is the best school and it has the best teachers and the library is great. It has a lot of books, and I like to read books from the new library.

Book:Hank Zipzer-The Night I Flunked My Field Trip
Author:Henry Winkler
This book is about a 4th grader named Hank Zipzer. He goes on an overnight field trip on this exact replica of an old pirate ship. He also has his friends, Frankie and Ashley, going also. They share the ship with another fourth grade class, and Hank meets Collin.The captain is really mean, but he’s only an actor.The classes learn how to be a pirate and what it takes to be a pirate.
This book has so much adventure and comedy! I enjoyed it!

Molly Moon’s Incredible Book Of Hypnotism – By Georgia Byng – is interesting even from the 1st page.
You should read it, because it is about a girl named Molly. She is an orphan that was sent to an orphage as a newborn and learns how to hypnotize. Her best friend Rocky gets adopted and she searches Manhattan for him. Now, to find out what happened, READ, because I won’t tell you.

My book is The Ghost Next Door by R.L. Stine! I Love Hannah. I know you will like her. You will think so much will go on! The end is the best ending I have read in a long long time! The 1st book I WILL WANT TO READ 2 TIMES OR MORE! Also, I myself love North Highland Library! All the books are so cool to read. I think I READ almost all the books!

BookTitle: Eragon
Author:Cristopher Paolini
A young farmboy named Eragon discovers a blue stone. As it turns out, it is a dragon egg. He named her Saphire, and they become part of each other. A dragon and her rider’s bond becomes so strong, when its rider dies the dragon dies. With the help of Brom, Eragon has to defeat the evil shade Durza. The book is fantastic, and you should definitely watch the movie (after you read the book).

I just finished this really cool book that is titled ”Sharp And Sticky Stuff.”
This book is really cool- I’m not telling a story. Did you know that the porcupine’s quills do not just jump out. They stick in the preditor’s fur or skin. This author is Lynn M. Stone she is a really cool author. I like her books!

My favorite book series is the Hank Zipzer series by Henry Winkler. They are about Hank Zipzer, who is a boy who gets in a lot of trouble but learns a lot. I don’t have a favorite book, because I love all of them. Our library has the whole series…check one out the next time you go see Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Bass.

One of my favorite books is The Doll People by Ann M. Martin. This book is about these dolls who live in a doll house, and they encounter many adventures! Their biggest challenge is having to venture out into the house in search for their uncle. When you read The Doll People, you will be entertained by all the dolls’ unusual activities. The youngest doll receives a barbie doll set from her grandmother. This is a great book. Make sure y’all check it out from our library!

Book Title: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
Author: J.K. Rowling
Harry Potter is a boy who, after being mistreated by his family for 11 years, suddenly discovers that he has magical powers. He is invited to attend a special school called Hogwarts, and meets his best friends Hermione and Ron. Voldemort is a bad guy who is out to get Harry, and together Harry and his friends work to keep Voldemort from becoming more powerful.
What I like about this book is that it is filled with child wonders. Is magic real or not? That is what most little children, and grown ups, are debating about. But I KNOW magic is not real, which is why I know this book is one to read just for fun. But that is not a reason not to read this book, I read this book just because I like adventure and excitment.

The Caboose Mystery is about five people who travel on three different cabooses. Benny asks Jessie to mend his mattress. While mending the mattress they found a necklace. The colors on the necklace were red, yellow, blue, and green. The children gave the necklace to Cho-Cho, because it belong to his wife. You should read this thrilling adventure. Check it out at NHES!!!

Title:Escape from Fire Mountain
by:Gary Paulsen
A girl names Nikki was home by herself and her parents were out of town.There are two poachers out hunting but it’s out of hunting season, and they are bad men. They are trying to capture Nikki, James, and Molly. Will they escape? I think the book is good and adventurous. They should make more books like this!

My book is called Rascal. The author’s name is Sterling North. This book is really cool. It is a very adventuristic book. I love adventure books! It is also very exciting. Every time I set the book down, I can’t leave it. I have to pick it up and start reading again. It is soooo good! I hope you have or will read this book. It is soooo interesting!!! It’s about a raccoon and a boy. The raccoon learns how to open the screen door, and it’s also attracted to shiny things like car keys rings and door nobs. Rascal takes a woman’s ring and the woman can’t find it. Then the little boy finds that the raccoon has the ring…… and I better stop here!

The book I am reading is Hatchet by author Gary Paulsen. It is about a boy around 13 that is visiting his dad from north Canada for the first time since his parents’ divorce. The boy [Brian Robeson] ends up in a one engine plane. But on his way the pilot has a heart attack and is nearly dead so brian has to crash land in the canadian wilderness! He is left alone as a survivor with only his hatchet that his mother gave him to work with his dad in the summers. I really like this book and I think it’s a wonderful adventure of a boy learning how to survive on a island.

THE SKY PHANTON IS VERY GOOD BOOK. IT IS ABOUT THIS MYSTERY THAT NANCY IS TRYING TO SOLVE BECAUSE THEY SEE STUFF IN THE SKY AND WHEN THEY GO DOWN TO WHERE THEY SEE IT, IT IS NEVER THERE. ALSO, THERE IS THIS MAN NAMED BEN, WHO IS A VERY MEAN MAN. ALL THE OTHER BOYS THAT WORKED WITH HIM DID NOT REALLY CARE FOR HIM. ALL THE TIME THEY TRIED TO AVOID HIM.

Eragon [Book 1 of the Inheritace Trilogy]

Eragon was a poor boy who was hunting in the Spine. He was going to kill a deer when a blue stone appeared. He believes it’s a stone, but it ends up being a dragon egg. Eragon finds himself as a Dragon Rider fighting Urgals and Shades on the team of the Varden. Will he make it to the end of the book? On the way to the Varden, he finds a fellow who was the son of man who died in the The Time Of The Riders. This book is a magical and mystical world who brings you to the land of Alagaesia in Eragon’s place on his dragon Saphira. It was the most amazing, breath-taking book ever in the world that I have ever read. When you stoop reading, you feel like you’re in suspense of wondering what will happen next. Read Eragon and you will like how you feel as though you are Eragon in the book.

THE MEANEST DOLL IN THE WORLD

Ann M. Martin books are great.The book I’m reading is about a doll that is mean. There are some more dolls that got lost at someone else’s house.The doll that is mean is trying to hurt them because they are not her friend. It was awesome to read that book. There is more than one doll in the story, actually it was 17 dolls. I like the book because it is adventurous. And it is A great book for girls. If you read it you will be excited.

My book is from a series called the Spiderwick Chronicles. It is a fun book to read everyday. The Wrath of Mulgarath is about a monster who wants the field guide for evil. I like the book and I think there should be more Spiderwick Chronicle books so I can see what happens next time. These books have all kinds of characters, including fairies, griffins, goblins, hobgoblins, bronies, and trolls.

Book Title:Joey Pigza Swallowed The Key
Author:Jack Gantos
This book is about Joey Pigza, a boy who can’t sit still or calm down. He is so hyper his teacher can’t get him to stop disrupting her class so she is threatening to send him to a special-ed class downtown. But what can Joey do to calm down? Find out when you read this book!
I like this book because of the comedy in it.
So I think you should read this book because its a very good book and it has a decent number of pages so you could read it in about a week.

Book title-Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
Author-J.K.Rowling
Harry Potter was a boy who had lost his parents and every thing he had. He was forced to live with his aunt and uncle and thier son. Harry is surprised with finding out on his eleventh birthday that he was a wizard. And soon he is accepted into
a magic school called Hogwarts.Later in the year strange things begin to happen. Harry and his friends think that a teacher is trying to steal something that is very powerful. At the end of the year one house gets awarded the house cup.
I thought that this book was fantastic it had a lot of mysteries and excitement. If you want something mysterious, try Harry Potter…It is a really good book.

Book Title: Look for Me by Moonlight
Author: Mary Downing Hahn
Look for Me by Moonlight is about a young girl about 16 or 17. While she is with her father and step-family in her father’s hotel, she falls in LOVE with a VAMPIRE disguised as a poet! At the end of the story Vincent (the vampire) takes the girl and her stepbrother. He almost gets them but they end up killing him. (How they killed him I’m not going to tell, but it’s not him having a stake thought his heart or going into the sun!) I think everyone should read this book.

Author: Andrew Clements
This book is about a girl name Natalie and her best friend Zoe. Natalie’s dad die in a car wreck and her mom works at publishing office. Natalie’s mom and dad used to read her bedtime stories. When her mom read to her, her voice was calm and soft, but when her dad read to her he would make silly voices for all of the characters. Natalie said she always felt safe with her mom but with her dad anything could happen. So far what I have read I like. I think it’s an interesting book and I wonder what will happen next.

I love the NHE library! It has wonderful books. For example, I love their Judy Blume books. I think Judy Blume books are very funny.They’re about two boys named Fudge and Peter. Peter is older than Fudge. Their parents just had a baby named Totsie.
This is a very wonderful book. It is the best book I’ve read at NHE!

This book is a very funny, interesting, and exciting book. The character Hank Zipzer and his to friends Ashley and Frankie try to scare the bully Nick the Tick on Halloween by a huanted house. It`s a great book to read. I love it.
